Data input and output to files
Authors: Manis, Georgios
Reviewer: Blekas, Konstantinos
Description:
Abstract:
This chapter covers some input and output issues that were not mentioned in chapter 5, as it was still too early. But the chapter focuses on files, talking, first, generally about the various forms of data representation on disk, and then moving on to talk about Python files. Code in Python that implements various small applications that use files is analyzed in the form of slides accompanied by sound. Such applications include a student directory, a phone book, a dictionary, and a text converter.
