Description:
Abstract:
This chapter is aimed at the reader who has not previously had any contact with programming. The reader who does not know how to think to solve even the simplest problem. It thus tries to show him how to work so that starting with a problem in mind, he can organize it, analyze it, and slowly design and write the appropriate code. The chapter attempts to take the very basic steps that may be a given for some readers, but not for all readers. It uses simple examples, with the simplest of all being how to think about building a program that asks the user for two numbers, adds them together, and displays the result on the screen.
