This chapter explores how librarians in collaboration with teaching staff can contribute to the development of students’ information literacy and lifelong learning skills. It also presents the main theories of learning, the basic principles of course design and development, the most prominent theories of information behaviour, and examples of how instructors can use technology to develop a lesson plan.
