Abstract:
This chapter will address the following specific issues: General typology: comparison between Greek and German, Cultural specificities, Syntactic, stylistic, lexical particularities (interactive), Relevant specialized vocabulary. Subsequently, this chapter will offer practical translation exercises with a translation direction Greek-German (subsection 6.5.) and is designed to be interactive (video). It will consist of 4 translation exercises, corresponding to the next 4 teaching units (5-8) of the course "General Translation Greek-German, Part II." It will be followed by comprehension/critical questions referring to both the original text and the translation. The exercises will be interactive, with audio feedback provided for correct/incorrect answers. Using the same logic, corresponding practical translation exercises from German to Greek are also planned (subsection 6.6.).
