In particular, the chapter will analyze the role of the Council of State (Symvoulio tis Epikrateias), the Court of Audit (Elegktiko Synedrio), and the Supreme Special Court (Anotato Eidiko Dikastirio), as well as the ordinary administrative courts, namely the Administrative Courts of First Instance and the Administrative Courts of Appeal. It will also cover the main legal remedies and procedural means available for the protection of individuals against public administration, including: the application for annulment, the action for substantive review (full jurisdiction), the appeal, and the petition for cassation (review by the Council of State).
