Description:
Abstract:
Chapter 11 "Creating Reproduction Material in a Digital Environment" describes the process of creating reproduction material for a map composed using digital methods, intended for production in multiple copies via offset printing. As this is the intermediate stage between map composition and reproduction, the chapter discusses color management for digital products that will be distributed either in digital or printed (analog) form. Additionally, it covers the characteristics and process of creating CMYK (four-color) files required for producing offset printing plates.
