Description:
Abstract:
Briefly, a classification of hemorrhages into two equal time periods of pregnancy could be made: up to the 20th week and after the 20th week. In the first half of pregnancy, the main causes of bleeding related to pregnancy include miscarriages and ectopic pregnancy. In the second half of pregnancy, the main causes of bleeding related to pregnancy include placental previa, premature placental abruption, onset of cervical dilation, rupture of pre-placental vessels, and rupture of vaginal and cervical varices. For postpartum hemorrhages (along with other complications during this period), possible prevention methods and pharmacological and interventional treatment approaches will be discussed.
