Description:
Abstract:
In a normal pregnancy, there is a decrease in arterial blood pressure in the first trimester, and arterial blood pressure reaches its nadir at around 20 weeks of gestation. Hypertensive disorders during pregnancy (pre-existing hypertension, preeclampsia, etc.) are common complications of pregnancy that cause significant morbidity and mortality for both the mother and the fetus, despite improved perinatal care.
