Μαιευτικά προβλήματα και λύσεις

Abstract

Στο βιβλίο θα περιγράφονται οι διάφορες φυσιολογικές μεταβολές και παθολογικές καταστάσεις κατά την κύηση και τον τοκετό. Θα δοθεί ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη λογική του προγεννητικού ελέγχου. Δηλαδή θα αναλύεται γιατί να γίνεται ο συγκεκριμένος προγεννητικός έλεγχος, πότε να γίνεται, (ενδεχομένως) κάθε πότε πρέπει να επαναλαμβάνεται και πότε πρέπει να σταματά. Θα παρουσιάζονται συγκριτικά στοιχεία από διάφορες τακτικές και θα αναλύονται τα υπέρ και τα κατά της κάθε τακτικής. Επίσης, θα γίνεται αναφορά σε συχνές μαιευτικές καταστάσεις (όπως δίδυμη κύηση) με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις σύγχρονες τεχνικές διάγνωσης και αντιμετώπισης. Έμφαση θα δίνεται στις καταστάσεις και θεραπευτικές πρακτικές που σχετίζονται με εμφάνιση συχνών παθολογικών καταστάσεων στη διάρκεια της κύησης και του τοκετού (όπως προεκλαμψίας-εκλαμψίας, προδρομικού πλακούντα, πρόωρης αποκόλλησης του πλακούντα, μαιευτικής αιμορραγίας κ.λπ.) αλλά και ειδικών προβλημάτων στη διάρκεια της κύησης (όπως σακχαρώδη διαβήτη, θρομβοεμβολικών επεισοδίων, αλλοανοσοποίησης κ.λπ.).

The book describes the various physiological changes and pathological conditions during pregnancy and childbirth. Special emphasis will be placed on the importance of prenatal control, and consultation related to the preconception period and during pregnancy. In related chapters, it will be analyzed why specific prenatal check-up (with a wide range of specific tests) should be done, when it should be done, and when it should be stopped. Basic data related to the fetus, the placenta, the amniotic fluid, normal and abnormal symptoms and normal and abnormal signs related to pregnancy will be presented in the first chapters of the book. Comparative data from various recommendations will be presented and the pros and cons of each recommendation will be analyzed. Also, reference will be made to prenatal care and common obstetric conditions (such as twin pregnancy) with special emphasis on modern diagnosis and treatment techniques. Emphasis will be placed on high risk pregnancies including therapeutic practices related to frequent pathological situations during pregnancy and childbirth (such as gestational hypertension, preeclampsia-eclampsia, premature rupture of the membranes, placenta previa, placental abruption, obstetric bleeding, postpartum bleeding, etc.) but also special problems during the pregnancy (such as diabetes mellitus, thromboembolic events, alloimmunization, fetal growth restriction, fetal lung maturity, etc.).
