Security Threats in E-Commerce Environments: identity theft and phishing, malicious software (viruses, worms, Trojan horses) and unwanted software, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, vandalism, credit card fraud/theft, forgery, password cracking/analysis programs. - Access Control and Authorization Policies: DAC and MAC models, role-based access control (RBAC), context utilization in access control, privacy protection, and trust building in e-commerce environments. - E-commerce Payment Systems: online credit card transactions, the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol (transport process, server and client authentication), the 3D-Secure protocol (use of XML messages in SSL connections to support credit card payments, digital wallets, digital cash, stored value payments, smart cards, and balance accumulation payments.
