Electromagnetic induction - self-induction
Authors: Chasapis, Dimitrios
Reviewer: Kalomoiros, Ioannis
Description:
Abstract:
The purpose of the exercise is to study the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction and self-induction, and more specifically: 1) measuring the induced voltage at the ends of a coil, which is located within a time-varying magnetic field, as a function of the rate of change of the field, 2) determining the inductive resistance of the coil as a function of frequency and the alternating voltage applied to its ends, and calculating the self-inductance coefficient of the coil from the resistance-frequency diagram.
