Abstract: |
Preparation and presentation: Description of how trainee students prepare before arriving at the Laboratory and presentation of experimental measurements and evaluation results. Error theory: Basic knowledge of errors with the aim of understanding the various sources of error in experimental measurements, how to quantitatively assess their impact on the (in)accuracy of the results, and how to calculate the optimal value of the measured quantity. Graphical representations: Basic knowledge of graphical representation and evaluation of experimental data with an emphasis on understanding the method of least squares.
