Description:
Abstract:
The purpose of this chapter is to present three more recent aggregate supply theories. The first is based on wage rigidity, the second on the assumption that workers have a mistaken perception of the real wage, and the third on workers' imperfect information. A common feature of all three theories is the introduction of expected prices into the analysis. All three theories converge on the same short-run aggregate supply function.
