Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter, we define the basic macroeconomic variables and their relationships. We start with GDP and conclude with various adjustments to disposable and potential income. A concise presentation of these definitions and adjustments is not possible. The student must carefully study what each definition of the above variables contains, because the analysis of the following chapters relies on these definitions.
