Abstract: |
This chapter focuses on lexical information offered by corpora as concerns several linguistic units with the help of methodological tools. In particular, basic phenomena such as collocation, clusters and semantic preference and prosody are discussed. Overall conclusions are drawn about lexical relations and the characteristics of a language’s lexicon, as revealed by the use of corpora.
