Description:
Abstract:
This examination, known as the Pap smear (test or examination), can lead to conclusions about pre-cancerous and cancerous conditions of the cervix. The test does not provide a definitive diagnosis but identifies women who need further examination with other diagnostic methods. Determining the type of HPV is useful in some cases, primarily in women over 30 years old.
