Description:
Abstract:
It is presented and discussed the form and the number of the cones and seed production in Mediterranean pines. Observations are made on individual trees. Especially, they are recorded the cones which ripen every current year, the oldest as well as the youngest. The ultimate purpose of these measurements is the determination of the above-ground seed bank, both in total at the time of measurement, and the annual reproductive capacity.
