Description:
Abstract:
The concrete roofs turn the urban environment into a thermal, urban island affecting therefore the environmental condition of a city and/or an urban area. By the term green roof, we refer to a planted roof. Selected herbal species planted on roofs of modern constructions are exposed plant surfaces and affect microclimatic conditions of the surrounding area.
