Abstract:
The following chapter outlines the concept of creativity that has played and continues to play a key role in modern education. Especially in the teaching of the arts at school, creativity has a primary position, because education is called upon to cultivate the personal relationship of each student with the arts. The chapter focuses on research on creativity in education and music education, and on related concepts and axes that can contribute to transforming music teaching-learning into a creative activity for all. The following terms are examined: “imagination”, “experiential learning”, “divergent thinking”, “flow”, “emotion”, “models of creative thinking”. Finally, examples of ideas and applications of creative music activities for the classroom are proposed.
