Authors: Dionyssiou, Zoe
Reviewer: Akoyunoglou, Mitsy
Description:
Abstract:
Carl Orff is one of the most famous music educators worldwide and in our country. His approach is also called Orff-Schulwerk and focuses on the elemental components of music. He introduced the term “elemental music”, discovering ways to lead students to understanding the form and the building blocks of music. He talked about the unity of speech-music-movement, and developed musical tools for a methodical playful multimodal approach in music teaching.
