Abstract: |
Global warming, largely due to human activities, has led to the need to find ways to reduce this phenomenon, in conjunction with achieving comfortable living conditions for people, mainly in large cities. One way to achieve this is by reducing the use of conventional fuels and increasing the use of mild and Renewable Energy Sources, as well as through more environmentally friendly design and adaptation of systems. This approach regarding the built environment led to bioclimatic architecture for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Therefore, before someone delves into the chapter of bioclimatic design, they should acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the greenhouse effect, the climate and climate change, and the urban heat island effect.
