Abstract:
The chapter deals with phenomena of anti-Semitism in post-war Western and Eastern Europe in the context of the Cold War. At the same time, it analyses the events that led to the establishment of the State of Israel and the significance of this event in the development of the phenomenon in relation to the Arab world. The main intersections of the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians and the legitimizing discourse of the two sides are presented.
