Τhis chapter surveys the certified bodies for organic aquaculture and the logos used in organic aquaculture production in Greece, in Europe and internationally. The logo constitutes the clear visual identity of the organic products produced. It makes it easier for consumers to identify organic products and helps farmers to market these products. The organic production logo can only be used for products that have been certified as organic by an authorised agency or inspection body. This means that they meet strict requirements applied to their production process, transportation and storage.
