Description:
Abstract:
The international radiance of Anglo-American non-discrimination law was greatly enhanced after World War II, when its fundamental concepts were accepted by international and supranational organisations. Chapter 4 examines this development. In its subsections, it presents how the principle of non-discrimination has been shaped by international intergovernmental cooperation organisations such as the UN, ILO and Council of Europe, and then it approaches the development of EU anti-discrimination law.
