Abstract: |
In the chapter titled “Marxism, Darwinism and the Moral Law”, we examine how biological evolutionary narratives supported patriarchal, colonial, and ableist discourses. The chapter outlines the development of these ideas among Greek scientists, particularly criminologists. This biological racism serves as an example of how coloniality rewrites narratives from the biological sciences, providing a liberal and colonial alternative discourse against the critical approach of Marxism concerning class struggle through the lenses of race, sexuality, and gender.
