| Abstract: |
In the chapter titled “From Psychic Hermaphroditism to Libido Sexualis”, we explore how the concept of sex and sexuality is closely linked to coloniality. This is related to a gendered, racial, capitalist, patriarchal, and imperialist regime of truth that marginalizes disadvantaged groups through a scientific framework. This is particularly evident in the influence of eugenicist and psychometrician Francis Galton (1822-1911) and the references to European and Greek scientific literature.
