The thirteenth chapter describes basic requirements of the ISO standard 15189:2022 which is used for the accreditation of clinical laboratories, including spermatology laboratories. Particular emphasis is given on determining the uncertainty of spermodiagram parameters, establishing quality goals and indicators, and assessing risks in the spermatology laboratory.
