Abstract: |
This chapter presents fundamental pedagogical concepts necessary for creating educational activities in libraries. From behavior and effective knowledge transmission to constructive theories for the effective construction of meaning by the learner, the educational theories to be presented aim to make the basic theoretical concepts easily understandable to the reader, as well as their practical application. In the same section, issues related to the design of educational objectives, implementation methodologies, and evaluation of educational activities in libraries will be discussed, as well as issues concerning individual learning characteristics.
