This chapter presents the results of the research that examined the literacy skills of 6th grade students in the production of basic textual genres (narrative, descriptive, argumentative), after the implementation of the language istruction material for the language course introduced in 2006-07 in schools, which differ in terms of the socio-educational level of the area in which they operate.
