Abstract: |
In the framework of the laboratory exercises for lipid analysis, four exercises will be presented. These can be conducted either as a single set, with each subsequent exercise using the sample obtained from the previous one, or as independent exercises. Specifically, the exercises are: extraction of lipids using the Bligh-Dyer method, separation of neutral and polar lipids by countercurrent distribution, determination of lipid phosphorus, and separation of lipids by thin-layer chromatography.
