Abstract: |
A significant area in today's era is machine vision. In this chapter, students will gain knowledge not only about machine learning libraries and natural language processing, but also about creating programs that will allow a computing system to better understand the space and the condition it is in through cameras. This chapter will develop the basic background for images and video, fundamental processing algorithms, specific techniques for machine vision (e.g. classifiers), optimization of machine vision programs, designing a graphical interface with OpenCV, feature detection, analytical video processing, object recognition and motion estimation.
