Description: | |
Abstract: |
This book presents the basic interdisciplinary principles of marine navigation methods with examples of practical applications. The book is structured in ten chapters. Certain chapters or sections of chapters are particularly useful for teaching undergraduate navigation courses. Other chapters, which cover in more detail specialized applications of geodetic sciences, analytical/mathematical cartography, oceanography and GNSS navigation satellite systems, are particularly useful in supporting postgraduate courses.
