Grinding in the cement production process
Authors: Tsakalakis, Konstantinos G.
Reviewer: Tsakiridis, Petros
Description:
Abstract:
This chapter analyses the process of size reduction (clinker, gypsum and supplementary additives grinding) to produce the various types of cement (ordinary and composite) to the desired particle size or fineness. This is a property which, together with its mineralogical composition, determines its properties when used in the production of concrete and mortars.
