Description:
Abstract:
This chapter focuses on the development of cluster sampling. The sampling units are defined, and the method of implementing cluster sampling is described. The study begins with single-stage cluster sampling, considering both equal-sized and unequal-sized clusters. It then proceeds to two-stage cluster sampling. The analysis includes the derivation of estimators for the population mean, the total, and the proportion. The accuracy of these estimators is compared to the accuracy of estimators obtained from a sample selected using simple random sampling.
