Abstract:
This chapter presents agricultural robots used for agricultural tasks such as seeding, planting, and transplanting. Such a robot includes a self-propelled platform, the seed container or plant conveyor belt, and the seeding or transplanting mechanism. A control system processes the signals from the sensors, controls the movement of the robot, picks up the seeds or plants, regulates the operation of the seeding or transplanting mechanism, and performs the work accurately.
