Critical dissection and historical analysis of the intellectual references that inform the fragmentary nature of the conceptual masterplan titled “Die Stadt in der Stadt; Berlin, der Grüne Stadtarchipel” (The City in the City: Berlin, the Green Archipelago), developed by Oswald Mathias Ungers over the latter half of the 1970s as a trope of architectural archiving.
