Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter it is analyzed why psychological support is necessary in all sports, and how Physical Education and sports students, working Physical Education teachers, sports psychologists, coaches of all sports, and workers in exercise and health programs will use the material in the book. An introduction is given to the whole modern spectrum of psychological procedures and techniques used primarily for the motivation, psychological preparation and enhancement of athletes, but which at the same time can be used, in all categories of healthy and clinical populations who want to exercise, as well as in the physical education class at school. Especially for health exercise programs that are being developed recently, these psychological techniques can contribute positively to people staying in the programs for a long time, feeling beautiful and pleasant.
