Description:
Abstract:
Rangeland vegetation dynamics which forms the natural framework of the spatial and temporal development of grasslands and their components (connection to the previous Unit) may occur after the impact of natural (ecologic) or not (anthropogenic) factors. Describe these factors and their impact. Emphasis is given to homogenization and the degradation of biological diversity. Protection methods are described. The degradation of rangeland ecosystems and avoiding of irreversible conditions like desertification seek their longstanding rational management of rangeland types (link to the next Unit).
