Abstract:
The use of complex queries, functions and aggregate data for the development of management reports. A series of examples of extracting useful information with simple data processing, such as calculation of statistical indexes, combinatorial searches and aggregate data tables. Representative examples from the field of business management and marketing are included, such as ranking of products according to their profit generation and calculation of revenues per time period. The examπles are implemented in MS-Access and a large number of illustrations are given. Links to example datasets and implemented examples are also provided.
