Controlled Polymerization
Authors: Achilias, Dimitrios

Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter, the mechanisms and characteristics of ideal living polymerization, as well as anionic, cationic and coordination polymerization are first described. Then, the techniques of controlled living polymerization, namely atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT), and stable nitroxide-mediated radical polymerization (NMP) are developed.
