Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter, the concepts of the complex power series (Taylor series) and the Laurent series are studied, which are used here systematically for the representation and study of analytical functions in discs and rings, respectively. With the help of Taylor series expansion it is established that an analytic function has derivatives of any order. Moreover, Laurent series are used to classify individual anomalies as well as to calculate integral residuals. Finally, the theorem of integral balances is formulated which is essentially applied to the calculation of complex integrals.
