Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter the general concept of a complex function of a complex variable is defined, the elementary complex functions exponential function, trigonometric functions, logarithmic function are listed. Then some special subsets of the complex plane are distinguished (disc, open set, closed set, polygonally connected set, locus). In particular, the limit and continuity of complex functions are examined. The subsets of complex, which we distinguished earlier, considered as fields of definition of complex functions, contribute decisively to the definition and study of the continuity and derivative of complex functions.
