Politics in adolescence and the gender dimension. An empirical investigation: 2008–2018
Authors: Kakepaki, Maria
Description:
Abstract:
Chapter 3 will present the perception of the political process by girls and boys in adolescence, focusing on the findings of two repeated quantitative surveys that have been carried out in High Schools of Attica. It will present the way political identity is constituted, the way teenagers, boys and girls, perceive politics and citizenship, as well as the relationship between parents and children in the transfer of political predispositions. The key question of the chapter is whether there is a stereotypical emergence of the way politics is perceived and how these changes over time.
