Abstract: |
Distributed Information Systems are evolving alongside the evolution of technology, providing possibilities that were previously thought to be impossible. Ubiquitous computing, through its three main supporting technologies –cloud computing, blockchain technology and mobile computing, which includes smart phone technology– is a major and characteristic part of this development. The combination of these technologies creates new action models for organizations and businesses. In this chapter, these technologies are thoroughly examined, and implementation examples are given.
