Large inland (continental) seas and lakes
Authors: Klaoudatos, Dimitrios
Reviewer: Κonidis, Alexios
Description:
Abstract:
The great continental seas of our planet are not coastal zones in the sense in which this book was prepared, but because of their size, average salinity and economic or national importance they can be considered isolated enclosed salt seas. Five water bodies (the Aral Sea, the Caspian Sea, the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee and the Stanton Sea) are currently considered as such.
