Description:
Abstract:
This chapter presents the weather systems and their interaction with the prevailing atmospheric conditions. The characteristics of air masses and their interactions with the surface are also presented here. Air masses with different thermodynamic characteristics define the frontal surfaces. The types of fronts are accompanied by specific weather patterns and determine the current state of the atmosphere. The application includes charts and maps to practice and understand the circulation of the air masses and the frontal surfaces in the atmosphere.
