Abstract:
Image synthesis is primarily a technical process. The success of projects depends on its control. The IT cinematographer has to deal with a complex toolbox in which many of the older filmmaking techniques coexist with new ones. It is therefore necessary to know the technical terms of computer cinematography. The stages envisaged during the construction of a simulated space are generally the following: the creation of a model of the objects, the definition of an "observation position" and the lighting conditions, the definition of visible surfaces, the application of color, the composition of images.
