Abstract: |
This chapter presents the main points from the cultural object description guidelines contained in Part II of the CCO, which address the elements of the record grouped into: (1) naming and type, (2) creator, (3) physical characteristics, (4) style culture and chronology, (5) location and geography, (6) subject, (7) class, (8) description, and (9) view information (from images of objects). For these groups, the type and configuration of values, the desired specificity, ambiguity and uncertainty in the information, the organization of the data, and the proposed elements for the group are considered, among other things.
