The third chapter gives a brief description of the morphological characteristics of the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. The description covers both the submarine and terrestrial relief (catchment area) of the two main seas (marine regions) (section 1) on the one hand, and the secondary marine regions sea areas (section 2) into which they are subdivided on the other hand.
