Abstract: |
In the second Appendix, a study of the cardinality of sets is presented. The distinction between finite and infinite sets is made, as well as between countable and uncountable sets. The Pigeonhole Principle and the Cantor-Schroeder-Bernstein theorem for finite and infinite sets respectively, are also presented. In addition, it is proven that the set of rational numbers is countable, while the set of the real numbers is uncountable.
